ONE MAN COMPANIES NO LONGER REQUIRE EMPLOYER'S LIABILITY INSURANCE
All businesses have to carry employer's liability insurance with substantial penalties of up to £2,500 per day for those failing to comply. One man unincorporated businesses with no employees are exempt. Previously, companies have required employer's liability cover even if there was only one director. It has now been announced that companies who employ only their owner are no longer required to have employer's liability insurance.
